Doris Jean Eason

Doris Jean Eason, age 81 and originally from Marthaville, LA, passed away on July 26, 2019.  She was currently a resident at Heritage Manor Stratmore Nursing Home in Shreveport, LA.  She was preceded in death by her parents, Clifton and Eunice Eason; brothers, Reuben and Paul Eason; and a twin sister, Dorothy Lynn Eason. She is survived by her sisters Myrna Brint, Mattie Rachal, and Gladys Dowden; and a brother, David "Bo" Eason.  She is also survived by 10 nieces and nephews and 13 great nieces and nephews. She enjoyed spending time with family and watching movies on TV. A graveside service will be held at 10 am on Wednesday, July 31, 2019, at Marthaville Cemetery in Marthaville, LA.  Those honored to serve as pallbearers include Wade Brint, Wes Brint, Villis “Bo”  Dowden, Eason Dowden, Eugene Rachal, and Garrett Brint.  Honorary pallbearer will be Ted Singletary.
