Chuck LaGrange

Funeral services for Chuck LaGrange will be held at 2 pm on Sunday, August 4, 2019, at Blanchard-St. Denis Funeral Home in Natchitoches. The family will receive friends from 10 am until service time on Sunday the 4th at Blanchard-St. Denis Funeral Home. Chuck LaGrange 65 years of age and a resident of Natchitoches, passed away on July 31, 2019. He was born on November 18, 1953, to Armond LaGrange and Irene Naquin LaGrange in New Orleans, LA.  He was preceded in death by his parents, brothers, Michael LaGrange and John LaGrange; and sister, Ellie Forschler. He is survived by his wife of 47 years, Faye Guillot LaGrange; sons, Gabriel LaGrange and wife Amanda, and Justin LaGrange and wife Heather; grandchildren, Lindsay LaGrange, Gavin LaGrange, Hunter LaGrange, Collin LaGrange, Camden Litton, and Jayce LaGrange; sisters, Patricia Faust, and Susan Bordelon; brothers, Robert LaGrange; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Chuck’s legacy will impact the rest of our lives as well as our children's lives.  The memories of spending time hunting, fishing, camping, hanging out on the porch at Tensas and Toledo Bend, around the campfire will always be favorite. He has taught us so much over the years of both what to do and what not to do.  How to love and serve family, love of the outdoors - God's creations, respect authority, analyze and consider all options, not just the easy ones, keep loving family no matter what the other person chooses.  He was a natural outdoorsman and made everything look so easy to do but took the time to show us how to do it better. His love for his wife, sons, grandkids, and extended family was so evident in his words and actions. His influence will always be ever-present.
