Marcele Durr Achord

A service to honor the life of Marcele Durr Achord will be at 2 pm Sunday, March 29, 2015 at Blanchard St. Denis Funeral Home with Bro. Billy Shuggart and Rev. Leo Walker officiating. Burial will follow at Beulah Cemetery in Marthaville. The family will receive friends from 5 pm until 9 pm on Saturday, March 28, 2015 at Blanchard St. Denis. Marcele Durr Achord, 86 years of age and a resident of Natchitoches, passed away March 26, 2015 in Natchitoches. She was born February 7, 1929 in Red River Parish to Alton and Ola Stroud Durr. Those left to cherish her memory include her children Marlene Lindsey and her husband Jimmy Lee, Debbie Morgan and her husband Robert, Rodney Achord and his wife Monica; grandchildren, Jason Lindsey, Kelly Crawford, Christi Longlois-Marney, Joseph Longlois, Abby LaCour, Dennis Morgan, Randy Achord, Casie Deville, Rian Achord, Eric Breedlove, Luke Spears, and Naomi Bynog; as well as 21 great grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren. Her grandsons are honored to serve as her pallbearers.
