Yvonne O. Holland

Yvonne Orlette Holland of Natchitoches, Louisiana was born April 26, 1936 in Vowells Mill, Louisiana to Phanor and Vera Tynes Honeycutt. Yvonne passed away in the comfort of her home surrounded by loved ones on April 10, 2020. Yvonne was a loving mother, aunt, sister, grandmother, and friend to all that knew her. She spent a great amount of her life surrounded by family and her church. When she was not at church, she enjoyed cooking, gardening, traveling, and sewing - as she conducted a wonderful sewing ministry at Westside Baptist Church of Natchitoches, LA. Yvonne spent her life living by the Word of God to her fullest extent and is now at peace with our Lord and Savior. Yvonne O. Holland is proceeded in death by her husband of nearly 62 years, William Truman Holland (10/7/1928-10/1/2015) of Natchitoches, Louisiana; mother, Vera Tynes Honeycutt (10/1/1916-10/3/2002); father, Phanor Honeycutt (2/4/1906-9/21/1979); and brother, James Honeycutt (11/6/1939-11/14/1958). Yvonne is survived by brother, Charles Honeycutt and Annie Lambert of Vowells Mill, LA; sister, Lola and husband Sam Stewart of Lawton, OK; sister-in-law, Claudia Voigt of Provencal, LA; brother-in-law, Wilmer Holland of Vowells Mill, LA; sister-in-law, Bonnie Byrd of Hugh Springs, TX; sister-in-law, Martha Holland of Marthaville, LA; daughter, Judy Maley and husband Wayne Maley of Provencal, LA; son, Ronald Holland and wife Leanie Holland of Natchitoches, LA; grandson, Billy Maley and wife Lucia Maley of Provencal, LA; grandson, Anthony Maley and wife Andrea Maley of Provencal, LA; great-grandchildren, Brandi Fitzgerald, DeWayne Fitzgerald and wife Andrea, Megan Maley, MiKenzie Maley, Alyssa Maley, Morgan Maley, and Melanie Maley; great-great-grandchildren, Preston Hernandez, Randall Welch, Gage Fitzgerald, and Mason Fitzgerald. Honored to serve as pallbearers will be Anthony Maley, Billy Maley, Randy Yopp, Jace Morris, Mike McLaren, and Bryant Gandy. Honorary pallbearers will be Sam Stewart, Wilmer Holland, Wayne Maley, Christopher Honeycutt, Tyler Morris, and Ryan Lucas. Due to the limitation in place from Covid-19 a private graveside service will be held at Hickory Grove Cemetery in Vowells Mill, La. “My soul finds rest in God alone; my salvation comes from him”, Psalms 62:1.
