Wilma Ruth Nelson Stephens

Graveside service for Mrs. Wilma Ruth Nelson Stephens will be held at 12:30 pm on Thursday, January 11, 2024 at Oak Grove Cemetery in Natchitoches.  The family will receive friends from 10 am until 12 pm on Thursday the 11^th of January at Blanchard-St. Denis Funeral Home.

Wilma Stephens, 85 years of age and a long-time resident of Natchitoches, passed away on January 6, 2024 at Natchitoches Community Care Center.  She was born on December 25, 1938 to Clyde B. Nelson and Izora Quinn Nelson in Natchitoches, LA.  She held the most important job in life; she was a homemaker to her family.  She will be dearly missed by all that knew and loved her.

She is survived by her son, Ricky Stephens and his wife Pam of Fairview Alpha; 2 grandsons, Derek Stephens and Justin Stephens both of Fairview Alpha; three great grandchildren; sisters, Gay Fredrick and husband Dan and Billie Erwin; and a brother, Jimmy Nelson; as well as numerous nieces, nephews and friends.
