William Earl Weems

Funeral services for William Earl Weems will be held on Sunday, May 28, 2023 at Blanchard-St. Denis Funeral Home at 2:00 pm officiated by his son John Weems and Butch Ray.  Burial will follow at Pine Grove Cemetery.  The family will receive friends from 5 pm until 8 pm on Saturday, May 27, 2023 at Blanchard-St. Denis Funeral Home.  Those honored to serve as pallbearers will be Wade Weems, Chase Weems, David Weems, Matthew Weems, Zach Metoyer, Chris Durr, and Thomas Gray.

William Weems was born on April 23, 1935 in Hall Summit, LA to Cecil and Mattie Weems.  He passed away in Alexandria, LA on May 24, 2023.  He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, Johnnie Weems, his son, Ricky White, his sister, Dorothy Crow, and his brother, Cecil Weems.  He is survived by his sons, John Weems and wife, Darlene, Alan Weems and wife Tina, and Randy White; his grandchildren, Wade Weems (Amanda), Steven White, Amanda Pigford (Corey), Cody White, David Weems, Hailey Metoyer (Zach), Matthew Weems (Ashley), Rebekah Weems, and Chase Weems; a sister, Francis Curry; as well as numerous great-grandchildren.
