William Lester Bolton

William Lester Bolton passed away on July 6, 2024, following a lengthy illness. He loved his Lord and his family. Lester was a resident of Natchitoches, LA, but was raised in the Bellwood, LA, community. After retiring from Chevron, he and his family purchased Power Equipment Sales and Service in Natchitoches which served the community for 23 years. 

Lester was born on August 30, 1939, to Ernest and Nora Bolton, who preceded him in death. He is survived by his wife Rosie Bolton, sons Shelby Bolton (Marcia) and Kevin Bolton (Janice), all of Natchitoches, LA. He is also survived by brothers Dudley Bolton of Provencal and Rush Bolton of Lena, LA, several grandchildren, great grandchildren and extended family.

Visitation will be Tuesday, July 9, from 5pm to 7pm at Blanchard St Denis Funeral home in Natchitoches with service held Wednesday, July 10, at 10am at the funeral home. Brother Ben Dupree will perform the service. 

Pallbearers will be his nephews Shannon and Waylon Bolton, Ray and Evan Gandy, Stuart O'Donnell and Dakota Simmons. Burial will be at Shady Grove Cemetery in Bellwood.

The family would like to thank his caregivers Lessie West and the nurses of Hospice of Natchitoches.
