A service to honor the life of Mr. William Loyd Antee will be held at10am on Saturday, December 31, 2022, in the chapel of Blanchard-St. Denis Funeral Home in Natchitoches. Burial service will follow at Rachal Cemetery in Marco, LA. The family will receive friends on Friday, December 30, 2022, at Blanchard-St. Denis Funeral Home from 5pm until 9pm. William Loyd, 84 years of age and a resident of Marco passed away on Tuesday, December 27, 2022 at his home with family by his side. He was born on March 11, 1938, to Aristede and Lease Antee in Lena, La. He was preceded in death by his parents, Aristede and Lease Rachal Antee, step-mother Cleo Powell Antee, step-brothers Douglas Powell, Kenneth Powell, and Gary Powell. He is survived by his loving wife of 64 years, Mary LaVerne Antee. His two sons: Dennis Keith Antee (Wanda) of Mora, La and Warren Stewart Antee of Marco, La. His two sisters: Linda Bynog and Clara-Nell Dubois. His grandchildren: Dennis Keith Antee Jr. (Haley), Christy Beebe (Jason), Amanda Perrotti (Jason), Kayla Coutee, and Shannon Antee (Scarlett). His great-grandchildren: Rachel Rachal, Ashley Rachal, Hunter Pierce, Mallory Antee, Conner Coutee, Jacob Antee, Mackenzie Antee, Kinsley Coutee, Zeb Perrotti, Caleb Antee, Ivy Perrotti, and Brantley Antee. One great-great-granddaughter Haisley Stroud. Step great-grandchildren: Grayson Newman, Kyle Beebe, Mason Beebe, Gavon Beebe, and Ethan Beebe. William Loyd worked at the Carnahan Company Store in Chopin, the state bridge crew, Central State Hospital Canteen in Pineville, and owned the Antee Store in Marco, La. Ending his career, William Loyd enjoyed working for Gary and Jill Anderson at the Little Eva Pecan Orchard. William Loyd enjoyed fishing and hunting with his sons. He enjoyed spending time with his friends and family. Those honored to serve as pallbearers include Dennis Keith Antee Jr., James “Jay” Coutee Jr., Bob Morgan, Jason Perrotti, Rodice DuBois, and Ralph Thomisee. Honorary pallbearers include Shannon Antee, Trent Bynog, Aubrey Lacaze, and Wayne Lavespere.
