W.B. Gallien

A service to honor the life of Mr. W.B. Gallien will be at 11 am Saturday, September 5, 2020, at Blanchard-St. Denis Funeral Home in Natchitoches. Burial with military honors will follow at Russell Cemetery near Montrose. The family will receive friends from 5 pm until 9 pm on Tuesday, September 1, 2020, at Blanchard-St. Denis Funeral Home. W.B. 93 years of age passed away on August 28, 2020, in Many, LA. He was born on November 8, 1926, to Columbus Gallien and Laura Bonds Gallien in Natchitoches. He proudly served in the U.S. Army and worked for many years as a road maintenance foreman for the police jury. He was preceded in death by his wife, Betty Antilley Gallien. He is survived by his daughters, Diana Forguson (Ron), Debra Tarver, Tina Norsworthy, and Jennifer Evans; sons, Kenneth Gallien (Nelda) and Richard Gallien (Carol); a brother, Donald Gallien (Maxine); grandchildren, Karen, Tara, Andrea, Dusty, Josh, David, Taylor, Cody, Brandon, Trish, Logan, Shanna, Jessica, and Jordan; as well as numerous great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
