William Thomas Stephens was born March 13, 1963, to Cleveland Davie Stephens and Susan Price Stephens in Hendersonville, North Carolina. His favorite saying was “I’m breathing in and out, so God ain’t done with me yet.” God called Tommy home October 18, 2022 at 11:11 pm, telling him that his work on Earth was done. Tommy was a mighty man of God, who, through his music ministry, spread the gospel of Christ to not just the community, but around the world. His CB handle when he drove a truck was Open Door. He told everyone he met in his travels his powerful testimony of what God can do & gave his gospel CD to as many people as possible. Tommy was greeted in Heaven by his father Cleveland, his brother Chuck, his first wife Symantha, 2 grandkids, & a host of family & friends. Those left to remember him include his wife of 11 years, Donna Sue, his mom, Susan, his 3 daughters Symantha (CJ), EJ (Gabriel), and Kit Cat, his 2 sons Sean Jackson (Shannan), John Jackson (Erica), his adopted children Hannah, Geneva, Alyissa, and Jessie, his grandkids Alyssa, Cyrus, Milo, Rose, Jaina, Euslie *Winter*, Abby, Björne, Keighleb, Dax, Ben, and Bryce, 2 brothers John (Sherry) & Mike, 4 Sisters Sharon (Joe), Jane, Lynn(Mike), and Susie, and too many nieces and nephews to list everyone, and friends. The celebration of life for Tommy will be held October 25, 2022 at Hickory Grove CM Church, starting with family visitation at 1, friends' visitation at 2:30, and the memorial service will begin at 4pm. Graveside will follow at Robeline Cemetery. Those honored to be pallbearers are John Stephens, Gabriel Vite, Sean Jackson, Jason Puma, Stoney Sims, Mike Monlezun, and William Monlezun.
