Terry L. McQuillin, Sr.

A service to honor the life of Mr. Terry Lynn McQuillin, Sr. will be held at 2pm on Wednesday, July 5, 2023 at Blanchard-St. Denis Funeral Home with Bro. Butch Rogers officiating.  Burial will follow at Memory Lawn Cemetery in Natchitoches.  The family will receive friends from 10 am until service time on July 5th at Blanchard-St. Denis.

Terry L. McQuillin, Sr. was born and raised in Natchitoches, Louisiana and went to be with his Lord and Savior on July 2, 2023. He was a member of Clarence Baptist Church.

Terry never met a stranger and was a friend to everyone, he loved spending time with his son, grandchildren and great grandchildren. He enjoyed going to breakfast every day and visiting with friends.

Terry was state president of BKMC and loved spending time with his BKMC brothers and families, traveling with them, talking on the phone with them, and all of them helping others where there was a need.

He was an inactive member of Fire Protection Districts 6, 5 and 3 and had great respect for fire fighters everywhere.

Terry was preceded in death by his parents R. A. McQuillin and Flora T. McQuillin and survived by his wife Diane McQuillin, son Terry McQuillin Jr. (wife Sandy), grandchildren Riley (wife Laney), Logan (wife Mary Kathryn) and Kristin McQuillin. Great grandchildren Ridge, Riley Ailen, Walker, Memphis and Rhett.

Those honored to serve as pallbearers include John Wynn, Chuck Stoker, Jarod Walker, Riley McQuillin, Logan McQuillin and Perry McDaniel.  Honorary pallbearers will be the men of Clarence Baptist Church and members of the Brothers Keepers Motorcycle Club.
