Terry Glenn Smith

Terry Glenn Smith, 67 years of age and a resident of Natchitoches passed away on Wednesday, July 14, 2021 in Natchitoches with his loving wife by his side. He was born on February 15, 1954 to Samuel George Smith, Jr. and Joanne Lillian Snyder Smith in Allentown, Pennsylvania. He is preceded in death by his father, Samuel George Smith, Jr. Terry was known for being a jokester and always making everyone in his presence laugh, he graduated from Emmaus High School in Pennsylvania. Terry loved to live life, he had a love for cars, as well as football from fantasy leagues to professional leagues. He especially loved Ohio State and the Eagles! He loved to travel, he considered himself to be a world traveler. After leaving his hometown of Allentown, he moved to Vegas for many years, then furthering his travels and moving to China. Terry taught English while in China, he also met the love of his life, Baohui “Belle” Wen. Belle and Terry later moved to Natchitoches, Louisiana. While in Natchitoches, He worked for Southern Scripts for over 6 years, he truly loved working as a pharmacist, and loved all of his coworkers dearly. Terry was a loving husband, father and brother, and a wonderful son. He will be truly missed by all that knew and loved him. He is survived by his wife of 8 years, Belle; son, Derrick Smith; mother, Joanne Smith; sister, Luann Schmoyer; and brother, Kevin Dale Smith. As well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. A Memorial service to honor Terry’s life will be held on Wednesday, July 21, 2021 from 4:30 pm until 6:00 pm at Blanchard-St. Denis Funeral Home in Natchitoches.
