In loving memory of Teresa Lavern "GiGi" Phillips Cutright, a compassionate soul who graced this world with her warmth and kindness. Born on October 15, 1956 in New Orleans, Louisiana, GiGi’s legacy is one that will forever be cherished by those who had the privilege of knowing her.  GiGi dedicated over 30 years of her life to the noble profession of nursing, with her final five years spent in the Hospice field of nursing. It was evident to all who crossed her path that caring for others was not just a career - it was her calling. Her unwavering dedication and gentle touch brought comfort and solace to countless individuals during their times of need.
 
 Beyond her professional endeavors, GiGi will be fondly remembered for her culinary talents. Renowned for her delectable chicken and dumplings, she delighted in preparing meals that brought together loved ones around the dinner table. Her kitchen was not just a place of nourishment but a space filled with love and laughter.
 
 GiGi's vibrant personality shone brightest when she was surrounded by family. She held a special place in her heart for her grandchildren but especially a new great grandson, Ezekiel Favela, whose presence brought immeasurable joy into her life. Her love knew no bounds, and she took great pride in witnessing her family grow and thrive.
 
 On May 15, 2024, she peacefully passed away in Fairview, LA, leaving behind a legacy of love and compassion that will continue to inspire all those who were fortunate enough to have known her. She is survived by her daughter Andria Coutee and husband David Holland, grandson Dacoda Coutee, granddaughter Taylor Favela and husband Zachary, granddaughter Brooklyn O'Bannon, great grandson Ezekiel Favela as well as by cherished sisters Cheryl Whitehead and Sandra Williams.
 
 GiGi is now reunited with her father James "Jack" Franklin Phillips, mother Pearl Eloyce Cole Phillips, beloved husband Frankie Dale Cutright, and son Eliott Lane Cutright. Together again in eternal peace.
 

A memorial service, honoring her life, will be announced in the future.
