Stella Eileen McKay

Stella Eileen Howell McKay, 66, affectionately known as ‘’Honey’’, went to be with the Lord on Monday, May 12, 2025. She was born on August 27,1958, in Virginia at Fort Lee to Jerrell G. and Clovice Howell.

Those left to cherish her memory are her daughter, Kaleena Pardee and husband Jimmy; her son, Casey McKay and wife Courtney, in addition to her grandson, Garrett Pardee. Stella is preceded in death by her parents and her grandson, Jackson Slade Pardee. She will be deeply missed by everyone who loved her.

Stella grew up in Simpson, Louisiana and she went on to work and retire from the State of Louisiana as a tax auditor. Stella was a loving mother and grandmother, whose life was a testament to the love she shared for her family and numerous fur babies. She was an incredible example of strength and dignity, along with her unwavering devotion to her faith in God. She left her mark on the hearts and souls of those she cherished most. Anyone who ever had the pleasure of being present in her company knew Stella for her compassion, her wit, and her sense of humor.

A private memorial will be held by family at a later date.
