Funeral services for Spencer Lamar Castleberry will be held at 2 pm on Wednesday, May 12, 2021 at Blanchard-St. Denis Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Memory Lawn Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 12 noon until service time on Wednesday May 12th at Blanchard-St. Denis Funeral Home. Spencer Lamar Castleberry, 48 of Natchitoches, passed away on May 10, 2021. Spencer was born in Bastrop Louisiana on August 27, 1972 to Doyle and Terrie Berry. Spencer graduated in 1990 and went on to attend Houston School of Art and Design. He received his plumber certificate from Tulsa Plumbing Academy. Spencer was an avid golfer and exceptional at the game, he won several tournaments throughout his life time and holds a course record at Arrowhead State Park Golf course in Canadian, Oklahoma to this day. He also enjoyed fishing with his father Doyle Berry and spent many hours trying to catch the big one. Spencer worked at Narconon Arrowhead in Canadian, Oklahoma from 2008 through 2012 and played a pivotal role in helping others active their sobriety. He is preceded in death by his grandfathers, Ernie Castleberry and Harvey Gordy; uncles, Ralph Knight, Bill Knight, Fred Knight, and Charles Knight; aunts, Elsie Knight and Jean Knight. He is survived by his parents, Doyle & Terrie Berry of Natchitoches Louisiana; grandmother, Dorothy Gordy; sisters, Krystal Berry Gibson and her husband Scott, Jennifer Berry Brown and her husband Chris, and April Berry Chester and her husband Tyler; aunt and uncle, Rachel & Graham Hardin; significant other, Kim Carter Davis; nieces and nephews, Hali Fair Moore, David Long, Tori McLemore, Keegan Gibson, William Brown, Hunter Brown, Jayce Chester, and Lane Chester; great nephews, Mason Moore, and Noah Moore. As well as a host of cousins and extended family and friends. Those honored to serve as pallbearers include Tony Knight, Michael Knight, Jeremy Knight, Kevin Harris, Ben Bernard, Wes Knight, Graham Hardin, and David Airhart.
