Shirley Clark

A memorial service for Shirley Clark will be held on Monday, January 29, 2024 at 11 am at Central Cemetery in Robeline.

Shirley was born on January 28, 1946 in Robeline, LA to John Lockett Goodrow and Carmel Hall Goodrow.  

She is preceded in death by her husband, Ronald Clark, Sr.; her father, John Goodrow; her son, Ronald Clark, Jr.; and her brother Ronald Glen Goodrow.  She is survived by her mother, Carmel Hall; her daughter, Sheila Clark; her grandchildren, Amber Barbo and her husband Austin, Ethen Jones and his wife Lacie, Josh Clark and his wife Amanda, and Brandon Clark; her great-grandchildren, Nataleigh Jones, Tristen Metoyer, Easten Jones, Tinleigh Jones, Charli Barbo, Cullen Jones, Eli Barbo, Bella Clark and Jesse Clark; as well as a host of nieces and nephews.

Shirley was a great cook and enjoyed cooking for her family.   She loved her family and loved to sit on the porch spending time with her family and friends and her “fur”ever companion, Lizzie, listening to anything Conway Twitty recorded.  

Known by all as “Nana”, she had a boisterous laugh that filled the room and a smile that brightened any day.  To know her was to love her.  She will be missed by everyone.
