Funeral service for Shirley Ann Brown will be held at 10 am on Wednesday, July 22, 2020, at Fountain of Life United Pentecostal Church of Natchitoches. Burial will follow at Old Bethel Cemetery in Natchitoches. The family will receive friends from 9 am until service time on the 22nd at Fountain of Life United Pentecostal Church located at 4500 University Parkway, Natchitoches, LA 71457. Shirley, 77 years of age, passed from this life and entered into heaven on July 17, 2020. She was born on July 27, 1942 to Ray Lonnie Carpenter and Reva Sybil Johnson Carpenter in Natchitoches, LA. She was preceded in death by her parents and a son, Tony Brown. She is survived by her children, Kandi Cochran, Melodi Lane, and Jimmy Brown; a sister, Bobbie Pearsall; brothers, Billy Carpenter and Lonnie Carpenter. She was blessed with 5 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren as well as numerous nieces, nephews and friends. She will be remembered as a loving mother, sister, grandmother and great grandmother. Even though we are saddened by her passing, we take comfort in knowing we will be reunited with her one day in heaven.
