Sheila Ann Freeman was born on November 7, 1959, in Natchitoches, La. She passed away at home in Robeline, LA on Friday December 9, 2022, at the age of 63 after a lengthy battle with Lupus. She was a wonderful person who loved her friends, family, and living life to its fullest. She was always up for an adventure and loved to travel, especially to the beach. She was unapologetically herself and lived life on her own terms. Her greatest love was for her children, grandchildren, and her great granddaughter. Funeral services will be held at Blanchard St. Denis Funeral home on Thursday December 15th at 3pm with Reverend Matthew Pagels officiating. The family will receive friends from 12pm until the time of the service. She was preceded in death by her father Ray Freeman, and four grandparents – Louis & Clara Freeman and Bernice & Loyce Colston. She is survived by her mother Doris Freeman, Children Jeremy Miller and wife Amanda of Natchitoches, LA, Melissa Thompson and husband Brandon of Natchitoches, LA, and Jessica Hagle of Robeline, LA. Sheila had six wonderful grandchildren who were her pride and joy – Brittany Miller and fiancé Brantley Johns; Logan, Jacob, and Evie Miller of Natchitoches; and Riley Hagle of Robeline, LA, and one great granddaughter Lillian Johns. She is also survived by the friends of her children and grandchildren, who she loved and treated as her own, and her special friend Jim Henry. Pallbearers will be Brandon Thompson, Jacob Miller, Brantley Johns, Jim Henry, Dennis Broadway, and Billy Allen. Honorary pallbearers are Logan Miller, Doyle Pleasant, Billy O’Con, Leonard Neitte, and Gary Neitte. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you consider donating to the Lupus Foundation of America, St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital or to Disabled American Veterans.
