Shane Kerry

A visitation for Shane Kerry will be from 2 pm to 4 pm on Thursday, June 27, 2019, at Blanchard-St. Denis Funeral Home. Isemay Joseph Kerry, known to all as Shane, passed away on June 20, 2019, in Natchitoches.  He was born on March 1, 1937, to Esmay John Kerry and Isabelle Dolores Bynog Kerry in Chopin, LA.  A native of Derry, LA he worked for many years at Cloutierville High School.  He loved to fish and hunt, especially with his nephews.  Shane was fluent in French and loved playing music and singing in French.  He was a loving husband, father, and grandfather and will be dearly missed by his family and friends. He is survived by his wife of 63 years, Connie Wood Kerry; daughters, Elizabeth Moesch, May Deloris Edwards, Betty Paniagua, and Barbara Kerry; a sister, May Kerry; brothers, Gene Kerry, Ray Kerry, Pete Kerry, Raymond Kerry, Lucky Kerry, and Travis Kerry; grandchildren, DeeAnndra Lynn Sanders, Eric Todd Edwards, Paul Edwards, Joshua Shane, Jessie James, Jeremiah Paniagua, Maryjane Pauline LeBlanc; as well as 2 great-grandchildren, Eric Todd Edwards, and Nina May Edwards. He was preceded in death by his parents, Esmay John Kerry, and Isabelle Dolores Bynog Kerry; 3 grandchildren, Jennifer Joyce, Layla Ann and James Scott Kerry; and 2 brothers, Michael Kerry and Daniel Kerry.
