Shane Warren Atkinson

A service to celebrate the life of Shane Atkinson will be held at 10 am Saturday, May 7, 2022 at Bellwood Baptist Church with Bro. Roger Matkin officiating. Burial will follow at Shady Grove Cemetery in Bellwood, LA under the direction of Blanchard-St. Denis Funeral Home. The family will receive friends from 5 pm until 9 pm on Friday, May 6th at Bellwood Baptist Church located at 5498 Hwy 117, Bellwood, LA 71468. Shane worked as a millwright for Roy O Martin and was an excellent provider for his family. He loved riding his Harley, fishing and cooking for his family and friends. Always cracking jokes, he had a huge sense of humor that brought laughter to everyone around him. His true love was for his family and he would forgo his own desires to fulfill their needs. He will be dearly missed but always remembered as a loving husband, father, son and brother and we know one day we will see him again in Heaven. Those left to cherish his memory are his wife, Christina Atkinson; daughters, Katilyn Atkinson, Brittney Atkinson, Cloey Atkinson, and Kinzee Atkinson; parents, Anthony & Tammy Atkinson; sisters, Charlotte Gardner and her husband Larry, Leigh Ann Winkler and her husband Kelly, and Kaylee Atkinson; brothers, Derick Atkinson and his wife Mary Burgess, Chris Deason and his wife Buffie, and Shannon Deason; as well as nieces, nephews and many friends. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Warren T. Atkinson and Cletus A. Atkinson.
