Funeral services for Samantha Pool will be held on Tuesday, October 5, 2021 at Crossroads Baptist Church in Marthaville, LA at 3 pm with Bro. Glen Howard and Bro. Dean Crittington officiating. Burial will follow at Beulah Cemetery. The family will receive friends at Crossroads Baptist Church on Tuesday, October 5, 2021 from 11 am until 3 pm. Samantha Rene’ Carr-Pool was born on January 9, 1998 in Natchitoches, LA. She entered her heavenly home on October 1, 2021. She is survived by her biological mother, Angie Carr of Natchitoches, LA; parents, Larry and Brenda Carr of Marthaville, LA; brother Dale Carr and wife, Alicia of Natchitoches, LA; brother Clay Carr of Marthaville, LA; niece, Lucy Carr of Natchitoches, LA; nephew, Tripp Carr of Natchitoches, LA; special friends, Brooklyn Noe, Leslie Brown, and Alisa Brown Garner all of Natchitoches, LA; a host of aunts, uncles, and cousins. She is preceded in death by her infant son, Freddie Samuel Terrell; maternal grandparents, Jess and Odell Townsend of Marthaville, LA; paternal grandparents, Maurice Carr and Jewell Carr Kahodi of Buffalo, TX. Samantha was a member of Crossroads Baptist Church in Marthaville, LA. She graduated from Natchitoches Central High School in 2016 and attended Northwestern State University. She loved spending time outdoors with her dad. He taught her to hunt and enjoy nature. Together they cared for animals on the farm. Samantha was a loving and kind daughter who was always willing to lend a helping hand when needed She was always busy working and helping her friends and family. Her compassion and love for others was demonstrated by her volunteer work at Camp Rainman of Northwest LA, a summer camp for special needs children. Samantha was a loyal and devoted friend. Her love and laughter will be missed by all who knew her. Those honored to serve as pallbearers will be Joseph Brown, Nicholas Noe, Weston Noe, Anthony Garner, David Brown, and Christopher Daniels.
