Obituary

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Sadie Trichel White on June 19, 2026. She was a beloved mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, whose warmth and kindness touched the lives of all who knew her.

Sadie will be deeply missed by her daughter, Tina Frederick; her son, H.D. White, and daughter-in-law, Elicia; and her cherished grandchildren, T.J. White, Mary White Barrett and her husband, Mickey, Victoria Seal, and Rosa Mae White, affectionately known as "Possum Belly," and her husband, Priciliano Bustos. She also leaves behind her adored great-grandchild, Mickey Dale Barnett Jr., lovingly referred to as "Baby." Her legacy will continue through her surviving sisters, Dorthy Springs, Maxine Ritter, and Peggy Matherine; her sister-in-law Ryan Seal and her children, Kaleb and Valarie; and her beloved grand fur baby, Prince Albert. Sadie's compassionate spirit cultivated many friendships, and she is survived by a network of family and friends who will forever cherish her memory.

Sadie was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph and Marciel Trichel, as well as her brothers, Jimmy Lee Trichel, Jerry Lynn Trichel, Elmer Trichel, and Guy Trichel, Jr.

To honor Sadie's life, a service will be held at 1 PM on Tuesday, June 23, 2026, at Blanchard-St. Denis Funeral Home. Following the service, she will be laid to rest at Goldonna Cemetery, where family and friends will have the opportunity to bid her a final farewell. The family invites those who knew and loved Sadie to join them in remembering her life and the impact she had on all of us. Visitation will take place from 11 AM until the service begins on June 23rd at Blanchard-St. Denis Funeral Home.

Those honored to serve as pallbearers include J. Mo, James Verrett, E.J. Verrett, Johnny Hernandez, Ronnie Glenn Buckley, and Dickey M. Haley, Sr. In this moment of sorrow, let us come together to support one another as we celebrate the beautiful life of Sadie Elliott.
