Ronald Lee Holman

August 22, 1968 — September 9, 2025

Provencal,LA

It is with profound sadness that the family of Ronald Lee Holman announces his passing on September 9, 2025.

Affectionately known as “Butterball,” Ronald was one of the most genuine, happy-go-lucky people you could ever meet. His laugh was contagious, and his upbeat personality often got him out of trouble. He had a natural gift for bringing joy to those around him.

Ronald was born in Bartow, Florida, and raised in Anacoco, Louisiana. A true free spirit, he eventually ventured beyond his small hometown, working in various places throughout Louisiana and making friends wherever he went. He had a passion for riding Harley-Davidsons and cherished time spent with his family and friends. Always ready for a ride with his brothers, Ronald embraced life fully. While many spend their lives searching for happiness, Ronald was fortunate enough to recognize it in the simple pleasures right in front of him.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Lilly Trudene Ezell and William Wesley Holman.

Ronald is survived by his daughter, Taylor Danielle Corkern, and her husband Kollin Andrew Corkern; his son, Wesley Chance Holman; his grandchildren, Maybrie Kate Corkern, Delilah Jean Holman, and Beckham Lane Corkern.

He is also survived by his siblings: his twin brother Donald Ray Holman, (Amy), Dee Wesley Holman, (Brenda) Chris Holman, (Teri) and Polly Keen (Frog). Ronald will be deeply missed by his many nieces he affectionately called boo boo and nephews, along with countless friends whose lives he touched.

A celebration of Ronald’s life will be held on September 12, 2025, at Blanchard-St. Denis Funeral Home. Visitation will take place from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., followed by services at 1:00 p.m

Ronald will be remembered always for his kind heart, fearless spirit, and the laughter he brought to those around him.

Pallbearers will be: DJ Holman, Aaron Holman, Dakoda Wyatt, Dalton Dubois, Michael Sparish, and Dustyn Howell. Honorary pallbearers will be: Bo Brian, Whit Maxey, Mike Jones, David Brian, Anthony Wyatt, Rob Franklin, Donny Whitehead, and Joey Allen.
