A service to honor the life of Mr. Robert "Bobby" Alvin Raynes will be held at 11 am Friday, March 11, 2022 at Creston Baptist Church with Bro Truman Leach and Bro Jimmy Raynes officiating. Burial will follow at Coulee Bethel Cemetery near Campti, LA. The family will receive friends from 9:30 am until service time on the 11th at Creston Baptist Church. Bobby, 71 years of age and a resident of Campti, LA, passed away on Tuesday March 8th at his residence with his family by his side. He was born on July 17, 1950 to James Kenneth Raynes and Bennett Rai Irby Raynes. He was preceded in death by his parents and his beloved fur baby, Priss. He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Jill Scallion Raynes; children, Jason Raynes and wife Amanda of Logansport, LA, Justin Raynes and wife Joanie of Castor, LA and Rebecca Raynes of Campti, LA; grandchildren, Madison Raynes, Callie Raynes, Makinley Raynes, Rebel Mars, and Sterling Raynes; siblings, Linda Brister, Jimmy Raynes, Martin Raynes, Joy Boyt, Sharon Durr, Brad Raynes, Christy Barraco, and Vanessa Stanfield; special sister in law Peggy Duggan; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Bobby was a loving husband, father and grandfather and was always an excellent provider for his family. He retired from Kilpatrick Life Insurance Company. During his retirement years he enjoyed working his cows, hunting and fishing with family and friends. Deep rooted in his Christian beliefs, we know one day we'll be reunited with him in heaven. He will be dearly missed by everyone that knew and loved him. Serving as pallbearers Doyle Waddle, Mike Watts, Ron Sanders, Greg Duggan, Kenny Raynes, and Derek Boyt; Honorary pallbearers are Billy Yount, Ron LaBorde, Jerry Sibley, Danny Scallion, and Perry Scallion. The family would like to thank Dr. Hogg and Hospice of Natchitoches.
