A memorial service to honor the life of Reva Darlene Dalton (Sisson), will be Wednesday, December 30, 2020 from 5 pm until 7 pm in the chapel of Blanchard-St. Denis Funeral Home. Reva, 61, of Natchitoches, LA, passed away in the comfort of her home on December 18, 2020. She was born in San Antonio, TX on August 10, 1959 to the late Jessie and Florence Sisson. Reva was a devoted wife, mother, sister, Nana, and friend to all who knew her. She enjoyed spending time with her family, especially at Christmas. She will be remembered for her long phone calls with everyone she loved. She opened her heart to anyone who needed her. She also had a deep love for her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Reva was preceded in death by her parents, Jessie and Florence Sisson, mother-in-law, Dovie Dalton, 2 grandchildren, Trey and Michael Cloud, and 1 great-grandchild, Anabella Smith. Also her best friend Lennie Mathews. Reva is survived by her loving husband of 29 years, Gerald W. Dalton; her children, Michelle Brown (Donnie) of Dubach, LA, April Hollingsworth (James) of Tulsa, OK, Carlotta Keyser (Joe) of Natchitoches, LA, Billy Cloud, Jr. (Sarah) of Durant, OK, Scotty Dalton (Tammy) of Oklahoma City, OK, and Brandon Dalton (Amber) of Colorado; her brothers, Don L. Sisson (Debra) of Natchitoches, LA and David Sisson (Jeanette) of Vicksburg, MS; her grandchildren, Ashley, Amber, and Austin Smith, Atlis Britt, Justin and Ryan Jacobs, Alex and Jessica Hollingsworth, Dakota Keyser, Makenzie Waxley, Brittany, Megan, Zachary, Zoe, Maddie, and Olivia Dalton; and 7 great-grandchildren. In lieu of flowers, the family asks to make donations in memory of Reva to the LSU Health and Sciences foundation pulmonary critical care unit. www.lsuhsfoundation.org/pulmonology-and-critical-care.
