Rebecca “Becky” Lynn Scott, 67, passed away on August 17, 2026, in Natchitoches, Louisiana.

Born on February 12, 1959, in Lafayette, Louisiana, Becky was the daughter of Emmett Scott, Sr. and Venita Scott.

Becky attended Natchitoches Academy High School. She was a stay-at-home wife and mother for many years and later went on to work at Dicken’s & Company, Stage Department Store, and Merci Beaucoup in Natchitoches, Louisiana.

Becky loved cooking and serving others, loved animals, and loved her family dearly. Above all, Becky deeply loved and served her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ with her whole heart. She will be remembered for her positive spirit, fun-loving attitude, and contagious smile and laughter.

Left to cherish many wonderful memories of Becky are her daughter Jacquelyn Mallie Hebert of Lake Charles, Louisiana and granddaughter Bella Bowers, of Dallas, Texas; her brothers Allison Scott and wife Gwen of Natchitoches, Louisiana; Tom Scott and wife Lori of Pineville, Louisiana; along with many nieces and nephews.

Becky was preceded in death by her father Emmett Allison Scott, Sr. her mother Ventia McLaughlin Scott; her brother William “Will” Scott; and her partner and love Kent Scott.

To celebrate Becky’s life, a service will be held on Friday, August 21, 2026 at Blanchard St. Denis Funeral Home in Natchitoches, Louisiana. Visitation will be from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. and the funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m.
