A service to honor the life of Randy Sumrall will be at 10 am Saturday, November 24, 2019, at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, 2010 Texas Street, Natchitoches, LA. The family will receive friends from 9 am until the time of service on Saturday, November 24th at the Church. James Randolph Sumrall, 66 years of age and a resident of Montgomery, LA passed away at his residence on November 19, 2019. He was born on May 27, 1953, to Glenn and Elaine Sumrall in Calcasieu Parish. He was a graduate of A. M. Barbe High School in Lake Charles, LA. He worked for many years as a pumping and tool specialist for Baker-Hughes. During his free time, he enjoyed martial arts and was a brown belt. He was also a state golden gloves boxer during his youth. He enjoyed the outdoors, especially at his home in Montgomery, and enjoyed raising and caring for his many dogs. Randy was a good man with a golden heart and would help anyone in need. He was a loving husband and brother and will be dearly missed by all that knew and loved him. He is survived by his wife, Patricia McVay Sumrall; and his mother in law and dear friend, Frances McVay. Randy was from a large family and was one of 11 children. He is survived by 3 sisters, 5 brothers, and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and 2 brothers.
