Piper Kate Bailes

Survived by her loving parents Brian and Jennifer Johnson Bailes. Maternal grandparents Scott and Lynne Cox of Vicksburg, MS. Paternal grandparents Caston and Miranda Bailes of Hawesville, KY. Aunt Dacia Johnson Gravlin (Michael) of Seaside, FL and doting cousins Lily, Emma, Kate and Coco and Uncle Daniel Bailes of Winter Park, FL. She is preceded in death by maternal grandfather David “pop-pop” Johnson and paternal grandmother Melody Dark Foshee, both of Natchitoches. There are no words to describe the amount of love that surrounded Piper Kate when she came into this world and when she left it. Even though her time here was brief, her tiny little fingers touched the souls of so many and her footprints will forever be in our hearts. We are incredibly grateful and honored she chose us to be her parents, she taught us more about the definition of love in her short time here, than we’ve learned in our entire lifetime. We are beyond heartbroken but know that one day we will be reunited and until then God will protect our precious angel. We want to thank everyone near and far for the words of encouragement and all the love and support that has been given to us during this difficult time. Each and every kind gesture and prayer is greatly appreciated. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts, Brian and Jennifer.
