Peggy Woodel Sanderson

Peggy Delores (Woodel) Sanderson was born on May 11, 1957 to George Warren Woodel and Dessie Simmons Woodel in Zwolle, LA and passed away on November 29, 2022 in Natchitoches at the age of 65. In 1977 she married the love of her life, Randy Sanderson and have been faithfully devoted to one another for 44 years until his passing in May of 2022. They have two sons, Troy Sanderson of Robeline, LA and Patrick Sanderson and wife Alexis of Robeline, LA; a granddaughter, Donnie Jean Sanderson; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Although Peggy worked different jobs through the course of her life, her greatest job was being a wife and mother to her family. Caring for her family’s was always top priority in her life. She was a long-time member of Central Baptist Church in Robeline, LA and enjoyed fellowship with her church family. She will be dearly missed by all that knew and loved her. A service to honor her life will be held at 12 noon on Tuesday, December 6, 2022 at Central Baptist Church in Robeline with Bro. Clyde Weatherford and Bro. Mike Tanner officiating. Interment will follow at Central Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 5 pm until 8 pm on Monday, December 5th at Blanchard-St. Denis Funeral Home and again on Tuesday, December 6th from 10 am until service time at Central Baptist Church in Robeline, LA.
