Patsy Webb Snodgrass

June 25, 1944 — April 9, 2021

A service to celebrate the home-going for Patricia “Patsy” Webb Snodgrass will be held at 10 am on Tuesday, April 13, 2021 at The Fountain of Life United Pentecostal Church with Bro. Mark Whitehead and Bro. James Whitehead officiating. Burial will follow at Weaver Cemetery in Flora, LA. The family will receive friends from 6 pm until 10 pm on Monday, April 12, 2021 at The Fountain of Life United Pentecostal Church located at 4500 University Parkway, Natchitoches, LA 71457. Patsy, 77 years of age and a resident of Provencal, LA, passed away Friday, April 9, 2021, at Rapides Regional Medical Center, after a sudden heart issue. She was born on June 25, 1944 in Oil City, LA to Etheleen Lynn and Pascal Webb. She was preceded in death by her parents, and her husband Frank Snodgrass, Sr., two brothers, Calvin “Leroy” Webb and Doyle Webb, and three sisters, Judy Maloney, Ruby Arnold, and Ann Webb. Patsy loved watching Hallmark movies, taking care of, and cooking for her family, loving on her grand-and great-grandchildren (and her gran-dogs and critters). She spent much time in her prayer closet where she surrounded herself with pages of written prayers, prayer requests, and encouraging scriptures. She was always smiling and was always the same wherever she went. She was a loving, selfless, caring, loyal, supportive, gentle, generous, kind-hearted, and thoughtful Mom and Nannie. Her family could go to her with any situation and she was always supportive and non-judgmental. She spent her life caring for others’ needs over her own. She loved to keep a spotless house, and until her health wouldn’t allow it, she loved to go clean her daughters’ houses. They could always tell when mom had been there as their houses had been “Patsy’fied.” She loved her flowers and plants. She had such a green thumb that she could take plants that were nearly or literally dead and bring them back to life. And her coconut cakes, cherry cheesecake, and dumplings were the best. As far as her grand and great-grandchildren were concerned, no one could make a grilled cheese like her. She was also an awesome hot tamale roller/bagger. She was so loved and will be greatly missed. She loved the Lord with all her heart and knowing she’s with Him brings comfort and peace to her family. She is survived by her daughters, Debbie Wilson and husband, Keith, of Provencal, Tammy Dupree and husband, Robbie, of Provencal, and Tammy Thompson and husband, Mitch, of Provencal, Alice Ryan and husband, Mike, of Marksville, LA; her sons, Jimmy Snodgrass and wife, Sue, of Elmer, LA, John Snodgrass of Schertz, TX, and Frank W. Snodgrass, Jr., and wife Tiffany, of Zwolle, LA; and a brother, Wayne Webb. Patsy is also survived by (and loved all of) her grand and great-grandchildren. Grandchildren include Misty and husband Michael, Amanda and husband Matt, Krystal and husband Cody, Shane, Melaney and husband Baylin, and Allen and girlfriend Kinley. Great-grandchildren include Luke, Lila, Anna, Sara, Emma, Ella, Malakhi, Micah, Mavery, and soon to arrive baby Berry. She also had numerous nieces and nephews, as well as an extended family withnumerous grand, great-grand, and 1 great-great-grandchild. Those honored to be pallbearers are Allen Dupree, Matthew Pearson, Luke Robertson, Shane Wilson, Jason Broadway, and Heath Litton.
