A graveside service for Patsy LeRoy Longlois will be held on Thursday, March 31, 10:00 A.M. at Weaver Cemetery, Flora, Louisiana. Mrs. Longlois, of Natchitoches, died on March 24, 2022 at Courtyard of Natchitoches. Patsy was born in Mangum, Oklahoma to Victor LeRoy and Dovie Cooper LeRoy. She grew up in Flora, Louisiana, attended Northwestern State University where she earned both B.S. and M.S. degrees. She was retired from the Natchitoches Parish School Board as Supervisor of Finance after working 45 years. She was predeceased by her husband of 63 years, Thaddeus Longlois, and her son, Scott Longlois. She is survived by two sons, Marc Longlois and his spouse Kevin Morrissey of Lenoir, North Carolina, Victor Longlois of Shreveport, three grandchildren and three great grandchildren. During her lifetime she was a bowler, serving as State Director for several years. She and her husband were avid square dancers. She was a member of Delta Kappa Kamma; was a charter member of the Natchitoches Genealogical & Historical Assoc.; belonged to several bridge clubs and was a member of Les Amies. She was a seasoned traveler, visiting Europe, China, Australia, New Zealand, Panama, and most of the U.S. She was a lifetime member of First United Methodist Church of Natchitoches. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the First United Methodist Church, 411 Second Street, Natchitoches, Louisiana, or to the charity of your choice.
