Patricia Ann Carter Rachal

A service to celebrate the life of Patricia Ann Carter Rachal will be held at 2 pm on Monday, February 6, 2023, at Blanchard-St. Denis Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Cloutierville Baptist Church Cemetery in Cloutierville, LA. The family will receive friends from 5 pm until 10 pm on Sunday, February 5th at Blanchard-St. Denis Funeral Home. Patricia, 73 years of age and a long-time resident of Cloutierville, passed away on February 1, 2023. She was born on January 7, 1950 to Herman Carter and Maybell Rachal Carter. She was preceded in death by her parents. Patricia was deeply rooted in her Christian belief and was the definition of a southern Baptist lady. We take comfort in knowing that when she entered into eternal rest, she heard “Well done, thou good and faithful servant: thou hast been faithful over a few things, I will make thee ruler over many things: enter thou into the joy of thy lord.” We know we will be reunited with her one day in heaven. Those left to cherish her memory include her husband of 55 years and 7 months, David Neal Rachal of Cloutierville; son, Herman Michael Rachal and wife Holli of Pineville, LA; daughter, Desiree Rachal and husband Jacob of Cloutierville, LA; brothers, Charles Larry Carter and wife Evelyn, Bobby Carter and wife Rhonda, Sherman Carter, Michael Carter and wife Teri, and Dennis Carter and wife Karla; grandchildren, Dalton Conant, Alorah Dewitt, and David Nathaniel Rachal; great grandson, Levi Emmitt Rachal; as well as numerous nieces, nephews and many friends. Those honored to serve as pallbearers include Adam Sarpy, Dale Carter, Jacob Dewitt, Kevin Nugent, Ernest Carter, and Dylan Carter. Honorary pallbearers will be Dalton Conant, David Nathaniel Rachal, and Ronnie Byles.
