Myrtle Lucille Eaves-Wilkerson

Funeral services for Myrtle Eaves Wilkerson, 89, of Natchitoches, LA will be held at 11 am Tuesday, June 3, 2025 at Blanchard-St. Denis Funeral Home with Rev. Bob Lane officiating. Burial will follow at Oak Grove United Methodist Church Cemetery in Natchitoches. The family will receive friends from 10 am until service time at Blanchard-St. Denis on Tuesday the 3rd.

Myrtle, a resident of Natchitoches, passed away May 31, 2025. She was born on December 28, 1935 in Belmont, LA to Wilmer Eldred Eaves and Madgie Ramsey Eaves.

She was preceded in death by her husband Olan Wilkerson; her parents, Wilmer Eldred Eaves and Madgie Ramsey Eaves; and her brothers, Robert "Bobby" Eaves, Leonard "Billy" Eaves, and Dewey Gladen Eaves, Sr.

She is survived by her sons, Wade Wilkerson and wife Sarah of Shreveport, LA and Clint Wilkerson and wife Mary of Monroe, LA; grandchildren, Melissa Wilkerson, Michelle Wilkerson, Katie Smith and Matt Taunton; as well as several great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

Those honored to serve as pallbearers include Scottie Eaves, Marty Eaves, Dewey Gladen Eaves, Jr., Mark Wilkerson, Phillip Wilkerson, and Elijah Wilkerson.
