Michael Glenn Sparks

Funeral services for Michael Glenn Sparks will be held at 1 pm on Saturday, March 19, 2022 in the chapel of Blanchard-St. Denis Funeral Home with Rev. Matthew Pagels officiating. Burial will follow at Central Cemetery in Robeline, LA. The family will receive friends from 10 am until service time on March the 19th at Blanchard-St. Denis Funeral Home. Michael G. Sparks was born January 16, 1978 to Bobby and Angie Sparks in Natchitoches, LA. He departed this life on March 11, 2022 at the age of 44. He attended elementary school in Marthaville, LA and was a Natchitoches Central High School graduate. Michael worked in different trades throughout his life including construction and painter for Rawls Painting, working in the oil field, brick layer for Starnes Masonry and maintenance for the City of Campti. Michael had a love for motorcycles, music and enjoyed expressing himself in art. His true joy came from spending time with his children and family. He is survived by his mother, Angie Henry and stepfather Gary Henry of Robeline, LA; sister, Monica Sparks and fiancé Rob Singer of Nacogdoches, TX; three children, Justice Edwards and husband Blake of Anacoco, LA, Bobby Sparks of Campti, LA, and Kayliegh Sparks of Campti, LA; step-son, Dylan Marr of Natchitoches, LA; maternal grandmother, Elouise Berry Lodrige Weeks of Robeline, LA; nieces and nephews, Jeremy Tousant and fiancé DeNayzia Carter, Nathanael Carter, Haleigh Carter, and Gabrielle Carter; great niece and nephew, Ja’Nae Tousant, and Bleu Tousant; on grandson, Fisher Wayne Edwards. He is preceded in death by his father, Bobby Sparks; maternal grandfather, Noble Lodrige; and paternal grandparents, Preston and Wilma Sparks. Those honored to serve as pallbearers include Jonathan Freeman, Anthony Freeman, Ethan Hutson, David Hutson, Dylan Marr, Jeremy Tousant, Sr. and Eric Pleasant. Honorary pallbearers will be Bobby Glenn Sparks, Bradley Sparks, Carson Joiner, Thomas (Bojie) Lodrige, and Jim Henry.
