Montgomery

A service to celebrate the life of Michael David Hale will be held at 11 am on Sunday, May 28, 2023 at Northside Baptist Church in Montgomery, LA.  Burial will follow at Black Lake Full Gospel Cemetery.  The family will receive friends from 5 pm until 9pm on Saturday, May 27th at Northside Baptist Church in Montgomery, LA.

Mike, 62 years of age and a long-time resident of Montgomery, passed away on May, 25, 2023 with his family by his side.  He was born on August 25, 1960 to Charles David Hale and Stella Worsham Hale in Alexandria, LA.  He was preceded in death by his parents.

Mike was a very hard worker his entire life.  The better part of his construction career was spent in the Petro-Chem industry.  His main goal for all his hard work was being an excellent provider for his family.  Outside of work, he enjoyed spending time with family and friends.  Usually, a gathering would consist of good music, that he enjoyed, and a delicious meal for everyone to share together.  There is not a doubt that Mike lived life to the fullest and we know he is in Heaven now.

He is survived by his daughters, Marina Messick and husband B.J. and Madison Hale; a sister, Pam Fredieu and husband Craig; a brother, Todd Hale and wife Stacy; the love of his life and still close friend, Donna Hale; a step-son, K.J. Hickman and wife Kelsey; a granddaughter that he doted on, Letti Messick and a grandson, Crayton Hickman; as well as several nieces and nephews he treated like his own.

Those honored to serve as pallbearers include Shannon DuBois, Will Breshers, K. J. Hickman, Ricky Pinder, Joel Bryant, B.J. Messick, Larry Joe Hale, and Tommy Waters.  Honorary pallbearers will be Bo Messick, Britt Fredieu, Dylan Gongre, and Kelby Lashley.

One of his favorite sayings was “Solid as a Rock”,  so please remember if you need a strong solid rock to lean on in times of trouble; look up to God. He will be your rock in whatever times or situations you are in, wherever you are he will come and be that rock for you just because he loves and cares for you so very much.
