Funeral service for Merry Charlene Davis Edwards will be held at 10 am on Saturday, January 14, 2023 at Blanchard-St. Denis Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Gorum Cemetery in Gorum, LA. The family will receive friends from 5 pm until 9 pm on Friday, January 13, 2023 at Blanchard-St. Denis Funeral Home. Merry, 65 years of age and a resident of Natchitoches, passed away on January 10, 2023. She was born on October 28, 1957 to Mary Earlene Basco Davis and Noble Davis in Natchitoches, LA. She worked for many years at the Natchitoches Parish School Board in food service. She was a loving mother, sister and grandmother and will be dearly missed by all that loved her. She was preceded in death by her parents; a daughter, Lori Leigh Ticheli; a sister, Margaret Ann Pardoe; and brother, Russell Curtis Davis. She is survived by her daughter, Kristin Edwards; grandchildren, Daiton Alexander Solice, Braden Garrard Jones, and Chad Austin Ticheli; a brother, Noble Davis; a niece, Margarete Anna Davis; as well as numerous extended family and friends.
