Elizabeth Perot

A Mass of Christian Burial for Mrs. Elizabeth Perot will be held at 11 am on Wednesday, April 26, 2023 at The Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary Catholic Church in Campti, LA with Rev. Jose Pallipurath serving as celebrant.  Burial will follow at Campti Catholic Cemetery.  The family will receive friends from 5 pm until 8 pm on Tuesday, April 25th at Blanchard-St. Denis Funeral Home with recitation of the Holy Rosary to be held at 7 pm in the funeral home chapel.

Elizabeth, 85 years of age and a resident of Natchitoches, passed away on April 23, 2023 in Natchitoches.  She was born on December 19, 1937 to P.E. “Hoss” Blanchard and Pearl Dickson Blanchard in Fairview, LA.  She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Freddie Perot; sisters, Janette Adams, June Koppie, and Judy Slaughter Cardino; and brothers, Glenn Blanchard and Perk Blanchard.

Elizabeth married Freddie Perot on February 25, 1978 and was married for 26 years until his passing in 2004.  Elizabeth was a devout Catholic lady and attended Nativity for many years and recently was a parishioner of Holy Cross Catholic Church in Natchitoches.  She always had a smile on her face that would light up any room she entered.  Her favorite times were spent with her grandchildren and great grandchildren especially cooking with them.  She will be dearly missed by everyone that knew and loved her.

She is survived by her children, Milton Friday (Billie Ann) and Loretta Hayes (Roger Edwards); grandchildren, Brittany Walker (Raleigh) and Chasity Tousek (Theron); great-grandchildren, Cayden Walker, Ashton Walker, and Haylee Tousek; God-daughter, Sally Matthews; a brother, Charles Blanchard; as well as numerous nieces, nephews and friends.  

Those honored to serve as pallbearers include Kelly Coleman, Spencer Coleman, Douglas Ates, Shelby Harold, Bruce LeBrun and Matthew Moran.  Honorary pallbearers will be Cayden and Ashton Walker.
