Mary "Margaret" Gant Barnhill

A service to celebrate the life of Mary “Margaret" Gant Barnhill will be held at 10:00 AM on Thursday, April 22, 2021, at Blanchard St.-Denis Funeral Home, in Natchitoches, LA with Buster Jordan officiating. Burial will follow at Memory Lawn Cemetery located in Natchitoches, LA. The family will receive friends from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM for the viewing with the funeral to start at 10:00 AM. Margaret, 82 years of age and a resident of Bossier City, LA, passed away on April 16, 2021, at her home surrounded by her loving family. She was born on March 17, 1939, to Daisy Middleton Gant and Prince Edwin Gant. She was preceded in death by her parents Daisy and Prince Gant along with her sister Lillian Ross and Grandson Jacob Daniel Barnhill. She is survived by her son, Edwin Gant Barnhill (Lenee'), daughter Jennifer Leigh Barnhill and son Charles Hubert Barnhill (Kay). Grandchildren, Nathan Gant Barnhill, CJ Barnhill, Tara Garrison and Tessa Neely. Great-Grandchildren, Cayden Sample, Jacob Barnhill and Aleigh Garrison. Visitation will be at Blanchard-St. Denis Funeral Home, 848 Keyser Ave, Natchitoches, LA, on Thursday, April 22 from 9:00-10:00 AM with the funeral following at 10:00 AM. Following the service, burial will be at Memory Lawn Cemetery. Special thanks to Nikki, Jessica, Tricia, Philip, Marti and Rachel with Stat Home Health.
