Mary Ellen Wardlow Wright

Mary Ellen Wardlow Wright, 73, of Montgomery, Louisiana passed away peacefully on August 29, 2026. A small, private gathering in her honor will be held for close loved ones. 

Mary Ellen was born on July 2, 1953. She graduated from Northwestern State University. She was a fourth generation banker for the Bank of Montgomery, now BOM Bank. She led a storied life and was always very proud of her children. 

Mary was preceded in death by her parents, Kent and Margaret Wardlow. She is survived by her sister, Jennifer Wardlow; her children, Ken Hale (Shannon), Peter Wright (Etienna), Katie Pevehouse (Josh), and Jessica Walker (Ethan); and her grandchildren: Dylan Hale, Drake Hale (Alayna), Ragan Hale, Claudia Wright, Samuel Wright, Amalia Wright, Iris Pevehouse, and Emmett Walker. 

Mary Ellen leaves behind a legacy of generations of family and loved ones that will remember her and the life she lived.
