Mark Rogers

A graveside service to honor the life of Mark Rogers will be held at 3 pm on Saturday, September 25, 2021 at Marthaville Cemetery in Marthaville, LA. Mark Gregory Rogers, 66 years of age and a resident of Houston, TX, was called home to heaven unexpectedly on September 16, 2021. He was born on January 19, 1955, to William “Bill” Rogers and Esther Salley Rogers in Shreveport, LA. Mark was a very beloved husband and father who will be greatly missed by his family and friends. He was passionate about music and was a talented musician, especially with a guitar. Although God’s plan called him home earlier than we expected, we know one day we will be reunited with him in heaven. Mark was preceded in death by his parents, Bill and Esther Rogers. He is survived by his wife of 41 years, Gail Butler Rogers; a son, Justin Rogers; a sister, Barbara Anderson and husband Lee; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
