She was a Purple Jacket at NSU, a PEO Golden Girl in chapter AG of Natchitoches, and an ADK member. She was a faithful witness to her Lord throughout her life, and touched countless lives of all ages while instructing them in the classroom and in life. K. Scoggins of Anacoco, LA. She is survived by her son Keith Scoggins of Kisatchie, and her daughter Kim Scoggins Cunningham (John) of Natchitoches; a sister, Wanda Lou Dowden Whitman (Lloyd) of Dry Prong, LA. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Kris Scoggins Faulks (Shane), Dakota Scoggins (Kelsey) of Kisatchie, Camden Scoggins of Shreveport, and Kaylee Scoggins of Kisatchie, Dusty Pike (Dr. Samantha) of Caruthersville, MO, Hannah Cunningham Henderson (Jarred) of Nashville, TN, John Blanchard Cunningham of Natchitoches, Christian Cunningham (Samantha) of Prarieville, LA.; great-grandchildren, Emma, Ava, and Lana Faulks and Westin Pike. She also leaves behind a plethora of family, friends, and former students who loved her deeply and will miss her greatly. She was always “the educator” in everything she did. We will miss you Mother! Thank you for being such an extraordinary teacher and wonderful mother on this gourney of life. We are better people because of you. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Louisiana Lion’s Camp for children and FBC of Natchitoches. “She is clothed with strength and dignity; she can laugh at the days to come. She speaks with wisdom and faithful instruction is on her tongue.” Proverbs 31: 25-26
