Lucille "Cil" Moore Rikard

A Mass of Christian Burial for Rosa Lucille Moore Rikard, affectionately known as "Cil", will be held at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, Aug. 3, at St. Francis Catholic Church in Powhatan LA. Burial will follow at St, Anne Cemetery in Spanish Lake, LA. The family will receive friends from 5 - 8 p.m. on Tuesday, Aug. 2, at Blanchard-St. Denis Funeral Home in Natchitoches LA. Cil, 89 years of age and a resident of Powhatan, passed away on July 30, 2022. She was born on Sept. 14, 1932, to Peter and Mae Breedlove Moore, in Allen LA. She was preceded in death by her parents and three sisters: Mary Louise Moore Crow, Nelly Sue Moore Hightower, Marie Moore Walker and an aunt, Onia Breedlove Dambrino. She is survived by her two brothers, Johnny Moore of Belmont LA and George Moore of Monroe LA, as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Those honored to serve as pallbearers include Kenneth "Buzzy" Walker, Wynce Nolley, Coy Nolley, Flient Saffel, Truly Bozeman IV, Tyler Walker and Wade Henry. Honorary pallbearers include Truly Bozeman Ill, Ned Henry and Gary Nolley.
