Lucille Longlois Bennett

Lucille Bennett was born to Louis Longlois and Selestine Longlois on August 30, 1931 and passed from this earthly life on August, 13, 2025 in Natchitoches.

Lucille was preceded in death by her parents; Mr. & Mrs. Louis Longlois of Flora, her husband; Harvey Bennett of Montrose, her son; Lynn Bennett of Flora; and a son-in-law, Ronnie Vascocu.

She is survived by beloved daughters; Yvonne Vascocu, Bernice Mobley (Benny), Beatrice Rachal and Melanie Poe all of Natchitoches. Her grandchildren; Kimberly Jarrett, Dwayne Vascocu, Amanda Everage, Dustin Bennett, Tyler Bennett, Kayla Barnhart, Brandi Kay, Kyle Rachal, Haley Mary, Lacey Crow. She also has twenty-two great grandkids and three great-great grandkids; a daughter-in-law, Deborah Bennett and a son-in-law, Johnny Rachal; as well as dear friends and caregivers, David and Gwen Cupp.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, August 16, 2025 at Holy Cross Catholic Church in Natchitoches with Rev. Jose Pallipurath serving as celebrant. Burial will follow at Russell Cemetery near Montrose, LA. The family will receive friends from 5 pm until 9 pm on Friday, August 15, 2025 at Blanchard-St. Denis Funeral Home. Recitation of the Holy Rosary by Mark Atkins will be held at 6:30 pm on Friday the 15th in the funeral home chapel.

Those honored to serve as pallbearers will be Benny Bennett, Benny Mobley, David Cupp, John Longlois, Kyle Rachal and Tommy Vercher.
