Lorraine served her country at the LA Ammunition Plant near Minden, LA and was honorably discharged in 1944. Upon her discharge she married Bill Ebert, a veteran of the U.S. Marines, and they began their life together in Natchitoches. Lorraine held the greatest job title of all, she was a homemaker to her husband and children. She fearlessly loved her family and was a great protector of them. A great woman of faith, she enjoyed worship at Calvary Baptist Church of which she was a long-time member. She will forever be remembered for being a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She was preceded in death by her husband, Bill Ebert; an infant daughter, Charlotte Gail Ebert; a grandson, Billy Todd Voss; and her siblings, Jearldine Cutright Patrick, Don Cutright, Vivin Cutright, and Paul Gene Cutright. She is survived by her daughter, Deborah Ebert Voss; a son, Grady Ebert; a granddaughter, Angela Voss; as well as numerous nieces and nephews of which none was closer than Daniel Ebert who she thought of as a son.
