Lonnie Marshall Casey

November 18, 1933 — April 4, 2020

Lonnie Marshall Casey passed away after a lengthy illness. He left this world peacefully in his sleep. He was born in Flint, Texas to Mittie Mae Casey and Linus Parker Casey. Lonnie was a longtime resident of Natchitoches since 1968 and was employed at Brookshire’s for 45 years. He loved his dogs and riding the roads of Natchitoches every evening, going to his favorite shop to grab snacks at 3J’s, and to visit with his longtime friend and co-worker, John Abraham. He is preceded in death by his parents, 5 sisters, and 1 brother, all from Texas. He leaves behind his wife of 59 ½ years, Sandra; son, Mike Casey; and daughter, Lisa Casey and partner Rickey Watson; sister, Jean Davis and husband Don, of Dallas, Texas; sister-in-law Anne Grisham, of Center, Texas; brother-in-law Ronnie Richardson and wife Joyce, of Kilgore, Texas; grandsons, Drew Abraham of Natchitoches and Dustin Steadman of Memphis, TN; great-grandsons, Landon and Isaiah, both of Tennessee; as well as many nieces and nephews all from Texas, and many, many longtime friends. We would like to thank all the nurses from the hospitals and Community Care for all they did for us. We truly appreciate it dearly. Services will be announced at a later date.
