Lillie Mae was born on April 9, 1936, in Montgomery, LA. to her parents George Edward Cormane and Viola Rebecca Gibson Cormane. She passed away on Thursday, January 8, 2026, in New Orleans, LA. Lillie Mae worked for many years at the Conagra plant, in Natchitoches. She loved being out in her yard where she loved to work in her flower garden, as well as bird watching, and feeding the squirrels. When she could not be out in her yard, you could always find her at the table working on a good puzzle, which she loved to do when there was time. The most important things in Lillie Mae’s life were her love for the Lord, as well as her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. She called Calvary Baptist Church her home church and was a member there for many years.

She is preceded in death by her parents George and Viola Cormane and her husband Edgar “Eddie” Johnson.
