Kristie Faye Cook

Funeral service for Kristie Cook will be held at 1 pm on Sunday, November 19, 2023 at Blanchard-St. Denis Funeral Home with Bro. Roger Matkin officiating.  Burial will follow at Pleasant Hill Cemetery in Pleasant Hill, LA.  The family will receive friends from 4 pm until 8 pm on Saturday, November the 18^th at Blanchard-St. Denis Funeral Home.

Kristie, 49 years of age and a resident of Provencal, LA, passed away on November 14, 2023.  She was born on October 22, 1974 in Shreveport, LA.  She was a loving wife, mother, daughter, sister and grandmother.  She will be dearly missed by all that knew and loved her.

She is survived by her husband, Jason Cook; mother, Faye Hight Fox and husband Dale; father, Jim Anders; children, William O’Bannon, Cole Anders, Jacob Cook and Ivorie Martin; grandchildren, James Michael O’Bannon, Rykar Anders, Chloe O’Bannon, Remi Cook, Jaxon Norsworthy, and Brailey Smith; siblings, Sheila Blankenship and husband Billy, Casey Anders, Stephanie Caldwell, Rod Lewis and wife Melissa, Norman Burkett, Danny Lindsey; her nieces, Erika Lewis, Erin Lewis, Olivia Blankenship, Kasee Pennywell, Nikki Burkett, Crystal Ory, Cassie Santiago, Makayla Martinez, Paige Martinez; and nephews, Kenneth Blankenship, Alexander Anders.  

She was preceded in death by her brother, Don Burkett.
