Johnnie Marie Nelson Johnson age 86 of Robeline recently passed away on Monday July 13, 2020. She was preceded in death by her parents, Luther and Aline Nelson of Robeline, sister Syble Gray of Adel, GA, and brother Donald Nelson of Robeline. She is survived by her son Dr. Willie Hey and his wife Donna of Sterlington, LA, brothers Ronald Nelson and wife Fran, Dean Nelson and wife Pat; sisters Mary Laroux, Trudy Nelson all of Robeline, Sandy Ramirez and husband Johnny of Mineloa, TX, Vera Priest and husband JR of Troup TX, Janet Price of Jacksonville, TX, Mable Bachelor of Highland Home, AL and many nephews, nieces and friends from around the country. Blanchard-St Denis Funeral Home will handle services for family members on Thursday July 16, 2020, at Shamrock Advent Christian Church, Robeline, LA. Church will open at 9:30am, services begin at 10:00am with interment in Lambert Town Cemetery, with reverend Butch Bruce presiding. Attendees are required to physically distance and wear a mask inside the church. Pallbearers will be William Laroux, Rodney Eiland, Joey Eiland, Billy Jack Nelson, Terry Nelson, and Terrell Wilson. Those who are unable to attend the service can view it live streamed on the Facebook page of her sister, Sandy Ramirez. In lieu of flowers the family requests making a donation in her name to either St Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital or Shriner’s Hospital for Children.
