Johnnie Beeson passed away on January 14, 2026, at Christus Highland in Shreveport, Louisiana. Born on April 3, 1961, in Natchitoches, Louisiana, Johnnie was remembered not only for his work ethic but also for the kindness he showed to those around him.
Johnnie's working career began with Con-Agra in which he dedicated eighteen years of service. He then took a position with CVA in Houston, TX before and most recently working for Lott Oil as a mechanic for the last eight years until health challenges interrupted his ability to work. His contributions extended beyond his professional pursuits; he was known for his willingness to help anyone in need, embodying his true sense of generosity
Johnnie is survived by his daughters, Lori Nugent and her husband William, and Brookley Sharp and her husband Matthew. He cherished his role as a grandfather to his grandchildren, Kinley Nugent, Rylin Nugent, Gage Hicks, Emmy Sharp, Annie Sharp, and Trace Sharp. His close bond with family also included his sister, Sharon LaGrone, and his nephew Jeff Sandidge and his wife Stacy.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Claude and Emma Marie McEntire Beeson, and his brother-in-law, Billy LaGrone. Their memories live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved Johnnie, as he leaves a legacy of love and support.
Friends and family are invited to pay their respects during the visitation on January 18, 2026, from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Blanchard-St. Denis Funeral Home in Natchitoches, Louisiana. The funeral service will follow, beginning at 2:00 PM. He will be interred at Rachal Cemetery in Marco, Louisiana.
Those honored to serve as pallbearers include Jeff Sandidge, Wayne Hardy, Derek Jones, Roy LaCour, Erwin Barfield and Donnie Whitehead. Honorary pallbearers will be Tyler Sandidge, Matthew Sharp, Mike Howard, Rylin Nugent and Gage Hicks.
The family would like to extend a sincere appreciation to Dr. Furquan Akhtar and Dr. Carter Schwartz for their professional care during a difficult time. Also to the staff at Christus Highland MICU and Natchitoches Regional Medical Center ER for the support shown while he was in their care.
Johnnie Beeson will be dearly missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him. His life reflected simplicity, compassion, and a deep commitment to family, making an enduring impact on those around him.
