John Gill "Bud" Rachal

John Gill Rachal was born in Natchitoches, LA to Joseph Wilson Rachal and Leatta (Metoyer) Rachal on October 10, 1949. Living and working in Houston, TX most of his days, he met and married the love of his life, Charlotte (Roque) Rachal on June 25, 1977. Retirement brought him back to Natchitoches in 2015. He LOVED it here! His parents preceded him in death.   Here to cherish good memories are his wife of 42 years, Charlotte. Siblings, Joseph Patrick Rachal (Anna) and Marie Nadine Babineaux (Hurley). Aunts, Carrie Metoyer and Anna Mae Metoyer. Father-in-law, Joseph L. Roque, Sr. Sister-in-law, Donna Ashley (Andrew). Brothers-in-law, Joe Roque, Kevin Roque (Shelia), Ron Roque, and Brian Roque (Lori) and a host of wonderful nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.    A memorial mass for John Gill Rachal (known as Bud to almost everyone) will be held on Saturday, February 1, 2020, at St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church, 911 5th St., Natchitoches, LA. 71457 Divine Mercy and Rosary will be recited at 10:30 am followed by Mass at 11:00 am.  Private interment at a later date.
